Ok, after the raid on Mammoth I want to talk to the 2ics and 3ics and any other owner in NFF in the Meeting room.  That will probably be 11:30am EST on Saturday.  Any questions or comments?  Ask and I may/may not be able to answer ;D.

First off I “un”declare war on IW.  They have been on our enemy list for a year +, and I have removed them as I see no need to quarl with them any further.  However we are still at war, but lets make it our goal not to get majorly involved.  Wait a moment to find out WHO we are at war with…

I signed up for something yesterday, and I’ll just copy and paste it:

This page is the Mammoth Movement. Recently, Mammoth has been at It’s all time low, so we organized this to help bring back Mammoth from the dead! It used to be like the base of CP warfare, and the coolest server to hang out on. Wars used to occur day and night, now It’s rare to find someone from an army at the server.

Plan

Our plan is to get all the armies who support this movement from Mammoth being dull, to vivid to have some troops on at any times of the day (It would be great if you had some troops on throughout the day, and no you dont have to stay on, you can log off whenever you want. The troops online will keep switching)

So, It’s kinda like bringing back what happend in the old days. We also want to make ‘CP’ armies more CP related again, hopefully this will help because right now most chats are full of random xat chatters, hackers etc.

Stuff reguired to make this successful:

• Quite a few armies online
• Don’t complain to go on CP
• Have fun! (This is why Cp armies were created in the first place, which we’ve all seem to forgotten!)
• Get Mammoth neutral again

So, Mammoth Movement by Fido.  Did you know if I had never gone to Mammoth NFF and I probably wouldn’t be here today?

So we are going to do an event on Mammoth, but who owns Mammoth?  Light Troops.  And if I am correct the don’t have it open to all armies to use.  So we are going to RAID Light Troops.  If they return by attacking us I will get ACP and DCP, so no fears.  But it does mean we need to patrol more.  Im also gonna throw another event in here:

Our sizes at this battle will be posted, even if Im the only one, so lets get a decent number.  Also; this will determine our sizes to LT (only if they actually find us).  Make it big.  Comment if you can or cant come to both of these.

I’ll cross out things as they are completed. We need everybody who isn’t an editor on this site to recruit! There’s that big mean word again, recruit. We’ve lost so many good and active troops because of the ‘incident’ and now we need new loyal troops.

Well, I’m not writing about myself in a bragging way or giving you my history…

Ok, lets get down to the point.

I’ve been accused of being a dictator and of being power hungry.  Now I want a defence (lets hope I can make it short ) and then I will explain what else needs to be done.

First of Dictatorship.  Lets look at the meaning of the word:

Dictator – A person exercising absolute power, especially a ruler who has absolute, unrestricted control in a government.

This is how all armies in real life are, except instead of government, its an army.  Armies are not made to give soldiers a chance to present their opinions.  They are made to defend a nation, headed by a government and citizens (like a Senate, House, President or King/Queen etc.).  Anything in NFF that me or any other leader did to give you options were a courtesy.  CP warfare is a copy of the army version of real life and applied to CP.  So its common and obvious every army is a dictatorship.  If an army had a senate or a house that would be kinda awkward… but hey that’s just me talking.

Power Hungry – Wanting lots of power.  Anyone can figure that out *roll*.

I’ve been accused of this.  Generals want control over what happens to their army, its natural.  Now, how do I seem power hungry?  Ok, maybe I want control and to have a say in decisions that happen to my army that I created and that I sacrificed so much for.  Co-1ic may seem slightly complicated here, but how it happened was that these Co-1ics were not in the army from square one like I was, thus they had slightly less power than I did because I was more experienced (in most if not all cases)and this was my army.  However this ‘more power’ was never put into action and we (1ics) treated each other like equals, at least I tried.  I would go to them for decisions on new 2ics or 3ics and etc.

Now having a Power Hungry Dictator can be bad; If you are in a government situation.  However, if you are having a Leader who wants to have control over his army, then you have no problem.  I can understand any general of any army wanting control over decisions in his army.  And I still give NFF and Co-1ic a few options.  I’ve said the people have a say to a point.  This is more lenient than a lot of other armies.  I listen to NFF soldiers, and consider their ideas.  You all know me, there is no need to play as if I’m a bad guy.

Well, that’s my defence I guess.  I want feedback.  Do it orderly, please avoid insults and do not comment if you are not in NFF, because I want the soldier’s opinion.

Comment answers to all of these things:

• Is Josiah Fett a Power Hungry Dictator?  Do you find this a good or bad thing?
• Do you like NFF’s government?
• If not, what kind of government do you want, and please explain in detail how you want it run.
• Did you find this post explained things and/or relieved you?
• Any other ideas, concerns or others?

I guess I’ll cover truth of the matter first.  The truth is I have been called ‘inactive’.  Let me say its not true.  Just because people get on from 4-7 PST and don’t see me doesn’t give you a right to say “Josiah is inactive”.  If you personally are on chat and staring at it for 48 hours and you do not see me on chat, then you can call me inactive.  But if you call me inactive without staring at your computer screen 24 hours at least, then you don’t know the slightest thing about if Im active or not.

Im usually on chat an hour or two at least per day.  Maybe its not when you are on, but since I’m in a different time zone its pretty easy to not be on at the exact same time.  Now my guess is the majority of you are on 4pm EST – 9:30pm EST.  I am 14 years old, I have a life and something I’m doing just about every night, and I have things I like to do for enjoyment.  So I don’t always have time at this “common time window” to be on.  But just because I’m not on durring a certain time doesn’t mean I’m inactive.

I’m on a lot when I shouldn’t be, so I could get in trouble for it.  I don’t always make events (like last weeks), but I made the couple before those.

I called Socker inactive, and in plain english: I was wrong.  He was just on chat when I wasn’t.  Not necisiarily anyones fault, but I should have asked around and investigated before I started accusing him of inactiveness.  So to you who have called me inactive:

Check the facts, or frankly stop accusing.  If you haven’t thoroughly investigated the situation and if you haven’t believed the truth of this post, then you have no right to point fingers, and you need to stop.

I haven’t been super active in NFF, but not really anyone with a life is.  But to point out my fact further I have not been inactive.  I’ve been checking the site, and a lot more.

I’m pretty active, I’d do a 7-8 on an active count comment, I come to most events, I try.  For a 14 year old you gotta admit this is actually decent.  Bottom line:

Check your theories before I get accused of them.
